1. Main Material

Commonly made from Q235B carbon steel or 20# seamless steel pipe; 304/316 stainless steel options are also available upon request. These materials offer rust and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for long-term use in groundwater environments and corrosive geological strata.

2. Standard Specifications

- Outer Diameter: 60mm, 89mm, 114mm, 140mm, 168mm, 219mm, 273mm, 325mm;

- Wall Thickness: 2.5mm–8mm (selected based on well depth and pressure requirements);

- Standard Single-Pipe Length: 3m or 6m; ends can be threaded for connection via couplings to extend the total length.

3. Screen Design Parameters

Features classic bridge-slot perforations with slot widths of 0.5–3mm (customizable upon request). The bridge slots form an arched structure, providing a large water intake area and resistance to clogging by sediment. An optional outer layer of galvanized steel wire can be wrapped around the pipe to further prevent fine sand from entering.

4. Connection Methods

Three connection options are available: threaded couplings, flanges, and welding. Threaded couplings offer convenient assembly and disassembly, strong sealing, and high security against pipe detachment during deep-well operations.

Once the screen pipe is lowered into the borehole, groundwater flows into the pipe through the slots. The slot aperture is smaller than the surrounding sediment particles, effectively blocking sand, silt, and other debris while allowing only water to enter; this ensures water permeability while preventing sand ingress, thereby facilitating water extraction or drainage without causing well siltation or borehole collapse.
